Dr. Reichard was the first person to get me interested in birds. I haven't really looked back since. He is a brilliant researcher, fantastic mentor/teacher, and a great friend. There is no man I would rather have spent my undergraduate years working side-by-side.

Dr. Bailey was the first mentor I ever had. She is intelligent, kind, incredibly hard-working, and a fantastic mentor/teacher. I owe so much of my undergraduate experiences to the guidance and support of Dr. Bailey. My first lab experience, my first teaching experience, my first publication, are all because of her.

Zoë has been there since the beginning. We became friends during my first research experience in 2022. We clicked almost immediately. I have had the pleasure to bring her into my life, as well as complete research projects and publications with her. She will have a special place in my heart forever.
